We need your voice – help shape the future of your community!
Are you a young South Asian person aged 13–18 living in Worcester?
Join Rise – a new 12-week creative programme where you can explore your experiences, share your voice and bring your ideas to life.
About the programme
Rise is a creative programme for young South Asian people (13-18) in Worcester who want to connect with others, explore the issues that matter to them and create something meaningful together.
Through weekly creative workshops, you’ll work with professional artists and facilitators to explore the issues that matter to you. You’ll talk about challenges young people face in your community, like identity, belonging, social pressure, and community life, in a safe and supportive space.
The ideas and conversations from these workshops will shape a digital project created by the group. This could be a film, animation, music piece, game, or interactive story.
The final project will reflect the voices and experiences of young people, helping others better understand the and challenges faced today.

By joining Rise, you will:
