Do I need to bring a chair or picnic blanket?

We recommend bringing a folding chair or picnic blanket to the Worcester Mela Festival if you’d like to relax and enjoy the performances in comfort. Some seating may be available, but it is limited, so bringing your own chair or blanket is a great option if you’d prefer a guaranteed spot to sit.

Will there be filming and photography at the event

Official photographers and videographers will be taking photos and filming during our events for marketing and publicity purposes.

If you would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please let a member of the team know and we will do our best to ensure you are not included. As some events take place in public spaces, we cannot control photographs or videos taken by members of the public.

If you are sharing images on social media, we kindly ask that you are mindful of other people’s privacy, especially children and young people who are not part of your group.

Who can I ask for general assistance?

We will have volunteers available at all our events, and they will be easy to spot in their Worcester Mela T-shirts. Some events will also have security staff present to help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
